Atelier PUUUR with PUUUR BLOK project included in N.A.i. Architecture in the Netherlands Yearbook 2015 / 2016
04-2016
Yearbook Architecture in the Netherlands in 2016 is the international showcase for Dutch architecture.
“The four-member editorial board, consisting of Tom Avermaete (Professor of Methods and Analysis, Faculty of Engineering, TU Delft), Kirsten Hannema (freelance architecture critic), Hans van der Heijden (architect) and Edwin Oostmeijer (independent developer) selects the 30 most outstanding projects in were completed last year and describes the main developments and trends affecting the production and design of the Dutch architecture.
The editorial office points out a search for an alternative way of development and a new definition of the architectural project. She sees a new group eager young architects to enter the stage of Dutch architecture. Unlike their predecessors SuperDutch, they want to refresh from the existing. Reinterpretation and radicalization of classical notions of composition, typology and tectonics are central. They emphasize the co-productive nature of the architecture instead of the architect as soloist visionary.”
